She began her tenure with Rocket Companies as a Blog Writing Intern in 2023 and transitioned to a freelance writer in August of the same year. Kara is a recent graduate of Southern University and A&M College, in which she earned her B.A. in Mass Communications with a minor in Dance. She graduated as the Student Marshal of the College of Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies, achieving a GPA of 3.911. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This summer, she will be attending Graduate School in a one-year master's program in Television, Radio, and Film at Syracuse University.
