Rebecca Green

An Atlanta-native and long-time New Yorker, Rebecca has lived in Portland for the last several years. She joined the Redfin companies in 2018 and has been working in the tech space for the last 12 years. She loves writing about unique homes and has a passion for old buildings, especially the ones that need a little (or a lot of) TLC. She loves designing and building things - from beautiful websites for Redfin’s readers to weaving textiles to renovating her first home herself.

She believes passionately that homeownership is a powerful vehicle for social mobility and that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home. In her spare time you will find her out hiking, exploring the Oregon coast, or curled up in a cozy bar booth with a book or some friends. She has a B.A. from Hampshire College and an M.A. from the CUNY Graduate Center in New York.
